The Semi Precious Weapons headlining opened with a bang at The Roxy is Los Angeles on Wednesday, April 21. The star studded line up proved to be a hit with the crowd and had some very special celebrity attendees, such as Ke$ha, Quentin Tarantino, Eli Roth and Adam Lambert. I’ve just added two pix to our gallery of Ke$ha attending this show!

Kiss 108 has revealed the initial lineup for their annual Kiss Concert, which will take place at the Comcast Center in Mansfield on Saturday, May 22. Topping the list of performers thus far are pop star Ke$ha and hometown favorites Boys Like Girls. Last year’s American Idol winner Kris Allen and runner-up Adam Lambert will also perform, as will The Script, Orianthi, New Boyz, Iyaz and Jason Derulo. Tickets for the show are now on sale and range in price from $35 for lawn seats to a whopping $200 for the first level of pavilion seats.

Proceeds for the Kiss Concert benefit the Genesis Fund, a non-profit organization that raises money for the specialized care and treatment of New England area children born with birth defects, mental retardation and genetic diseases.

Kiss 108 will also showcase a handful of local bands to start the day off at Kiss Concert including 2009 Boston Music Spotlight Battle of the Band winners Shadwell and local favorites Mission Hill, who were named to BMS’ Ten Local Bands To Watch in 2010 list.

Comedian Eddie Kadi took time out of his busy schedule to visit “equal opportunities” employer Taio Cruz and the ridiculous Ke$ha while they filmed the video for Taio’s new single Dirty Picture featuring Ke$ha.

I think I can guess what the video’s concept is. A pervert runs around taking pictures of couples (including Taio and Ke$ha) while they stimulate having sex in dirty toilet cubicles.

We first heard of Ke$ha in 2009 on Flo Rida’s No. 1 single ‘Right Round’. A year on and Ke$ha is a massive star in her own right. Her debut single, ‘Tik Tok’ gave Ke$ha’s her first top 10 hit, followed up by the equally as popular, ‘Blah Blah Blah’.

Kesha had also written for Miley Cyrus, featured on Pitbull’s album, supported Calvin Harris on his UK tour and more recently, featured on Taio Cruz’s new single ‘Dirty Picture’.
