(…) “I’m having a dance party,” exclaimed support act Ke$ha, just before she launched into the third song of her set, Dinosaur, a hilarious attack on pervy older men.

Clad in a silvery grey sleeveless top and sparkly hot pants, the Nashville electro-pop princess had already spent close to 10 minutes bouncing around the stage in an unrelenting display of manic energy.

Backed by two dancers and an equally animated band — some of whom looked like they’d been plucked from a 1985 Sigue Sigue Sputnik audition — Ke$ha obviously came to party and she was taking the crowd down with her.

Not that anyone was fighting against it. By the time Ke$ha finished off with her huge hit Tik Tok, the audience was screaming, singing and waving their hands in the air. At least waving the one hand that wasn’t busy recording her performance on an iPhone. (…)

Serial trashbag Ke$ha is desperate to date Nova producer Tom Ivey, after admitting a fetish for Russell Brand look-a-likes.

The outspoken singer recently revealed her left-of-centre taste in men to This Is London.

“I could not bear to go out with a guy who takes longer than me to get ready. I don’t want someone who’s going to steal my moisturiser,” she explained while describing her perfect man.

“My ideal man would be funny and fat with a beard. I love fat men. I like real men… I like a funny man, though. Russell Brand’s not quite my type, but if he had a fat, bearded friend, that would be perfect.”

Funnily enough, Nova has just the bloke for her.

Ryan, Monty and Wippa producer Tom Ivey is regularly mistaken for Russell Brand and even received lessons on how to be more Brand-like from the man himself!

In case you haven’t heard by now, pop sensation Ke$ha is one of three musical acts featured on three separate covers of PAPER’s Summer Music Issue (collect them all!). M$. Tik-Tok herself was was kind of enough to sit down with PAPERTV at her photo shoot to discuss Narwhals, her plans to tattoo Rihanna and explains her bejeweled teeth. She also takes a stab at freestyling and should probably not count on a future career into hip-hop. No matter, we still think she’s great. Watch it all above.
