Ke$ha was at 102.7 KIIS FM’s On-Air with Ryan Seacrest show earlier today, January 7. I’ve just added some new pix of Ke$ha in the radio studios to the gallery and you can also listen to this awesome full interview by clicking here or in the player below!
This album is fierce. Ke$ha’s debut ‘Animal‘ shows that although the sound is glittery electro-pop, the lyrics are far from dainty: “I don’t care where you live at, just turn around boy and let me hit that / Don’t be a little b—- with your chit chat, just show me where your d—- at.” And this is just one of her songs (specifically ‘Blah Blah Blah‘ featuring 3OH!3) off her 13-track album dropping Jan. 5. The 22-year-old Nashville-raised singer — who has written for Miley and the Veronicas — got her breakthrough on Flo Rida’s ‘Right Round’ and now has a the charting single ‘Tik Tok,’ which muses about the singer’s crazy night out partying. With other notable songs heavy on auto-synth beats: ‘Take It Off,’ (reminiscent of a six-grade camp ditty, and you’ll know what I mean when you hear it), ‘Kiss N Tell‘ and bubblegum ‘Your Love is My Drug,’ the singer is backed by music producer Dr. Luke (who had previously worked with Britney Spears). Update: A longer demo studio version with a fanmade ending of this song has leaked by the same uploader of this YouTube video. We will not be posting it on this website as we also won’t be supporting the leak of Ke$ha’s full album “Animal” when and if it eventually happens! We will wait for the actual album release so we can listen to her songs in the best quality and also support her career at the same time.
Song Of The Day: ‘Backstabber‘ By Ke$ha Released: TBC Label: Columbia More:MySpace
Ke$ha is a lot better when she’s not doing the whole ‘fell over while drunk LOL‘ routine and while this tune, which is showing significant signs of perhaps being a future single, isn’t exactly something you’d expect to find on a Susan Boyle album it’s a big infectious blast of popwarbliness and pushes Ke$ha in a slightly different direction. It has a bit of swearing in it though – woo, confrontational etc.
You can hear a clip of the ‘new‘ “Backstabber” here.
Listen now to the demo preview of Ke$ha’s rumored new and second single entitled “Blah Blah Blah” featuring 3OH!3. You can already pre-order here Ke$ha’s debut album “Animal”. Excited?
Don’t forget that this is apparently just a DEMO version, it is not the finished track that will appear on Ke$ha’s debut album, “Animal”.
