UNAPOLOGETIC, brash, brazen, and the curator of brilliant pop music, Ke$ha returns with her second single and it’s more in your face than Tik Tok, and just as infectious, if that was ever possible.

Blah Blah Blah flips the tables on men, and Ke$ha demands throughout the song that she’s just not interested in the lines that guys spin to get a girl. And in a total 360, Ke$ha stamps her authority and basically claims “less talk, more action!” Indeed, it’s this type of attitude that has allowed the “nice girl” from Nashville to dominate the charts round the world. First time I spoke to her she revealed she’d broken into megastar Prince’s house; threw up in Paris Hilton’s wardrobe; and stole her mum’s car at 15 to go to a concert! So, she’s never going to win any awards on how to be a teenager, but awards for music – she’s going win loads!

Fans showed up dressed as animals for the ‘Tik Tok’ singer’s short club set.

Ke$ha donned her best zebra-print catsuit and hit the stage in London for a “secret” MySpace show on Monday night. The singer played a six-song set that included glitter cannons and dancing transvestites, according to reports.

The blog WeArePopSlags.com reported that many fans dressed in their best animal-print garb, an homage to Ke$ha’s debut album, Animal, as they partied at the Bathhouse, where the pop princess performed “Backstabber, “Party at a Rich Dude’s House,” “Dinosaur,” ” F— Him (He’s a DJ)” and her singles, “Blah Blah Blah” and “Tik Tok.”

Q&A: Hipster hottie Ke$ha dishes on Prince & Paris

Ke$ha—the pride of L.A.’s Eastside hipster axis (when she’s not on tour, find her at La Cita, The Echo, the Gold Room and Cha Cha Lounge)—has totally blown up.

The Valley-born, Nashville-reared performer’s party-starting “TiK ToK” recently crested Billboard’s Top 100 list, and became the most-downloaded-in-a-week single by a female singer in U.S. history. Her first album, Animal, just dropped in January, and now (à la BFF Katy Perry before her) she’s shaping up to be the city’s next big pop breakout.

If you want insight into a celebrity’s self-image, you could do worse than watch one make the brief walk from the star’s chosen chariot to the red carpet prior to an awards show. The frenzied VIP drop-off area at the 2010 Grammy Awards reveals more than any klieg-light TV interview could. Alice Cooper pulls himself from a nondescript car and strolls-nonchalant and unassuming-through the throng before anyone can look twice. Lady Gaga’s mini convertible pulls up with her sitting atop the back seat, eyes fixed studiously on a point in the distance; as she exits the car, some of the dozens of wires that orbit her dress get caught on the seat, and there’s a collective holding of the breath as she detaches.

When Rolling Stone last interviewed Ke$ha — whose “TiK ToK” has been on a glittery, record-breaking run on the Singles chart — the 22-year-old pop star admitted she’s not afraid to look like an asshole, she admires the Flaming Lips and Arcade Fire, and her dream collaboration is a slumber party with Beck and Prince. When she stopped by the RS offices last week, we wanted to ask her the hard questions — like did she actually deface the Hollywood sign and does she really think she’s like Bob Dylan? — so we found the only journalist truly up to the task: Ke$ha.

The 22-year-old writes all her own music – she’s kind of obsessed with it – and even broke into Prince’s Beverly Hills home once. Her essence is really that of the anti-pop star. It’s easy to compare her sound with Lady Gaga’s musical style, but you can’t discount her outspokenness and lyrical savvy that comes off as one part Pink, another part Beastie Boy. Her material is the pop star equivalent of Kathy Griffin or Mo’Nique, with enough raunchiness to parallel a slew of Howard Stern shows.

“I’m not a brain surgeon, it’s pop music,” she says. “I don’t take myself too seriously – it’s supposed to be a fun ride.”
